The excessive exploitation of the extinct mineral formerly known as berry led to the irreversible contamination of remote lands where farmers once cultivated grain for sustenance. These lands would be abandoned by their farmers once planting yielded no fruit. Underground, seeds were growing uncontrollably, soon to present terrifying mutations.

Growing in isolation and forming their own society, the Grain Glitchers were born from these mutated grain seeds. Developing not only eyes, arms, and legs, but also great intelligence, they emerged as a new entity, challenging the conventions of known nature and logic.
